About Me

I’m a retired Middle School Math Teacher and I have finally figured what I want to be when I grow up: a musician! I have been performing solo and in bands as a hobby for the better part of 25 years. Now, I want to spend my retirement traveling around and making music full-time for people who want nothing more than to be together and have a good time! I play a popular, acoustic mix of country, folk, Americana and classic rock songs.

I also play some sloppy guitar for a Classic Rock/Country cover band called The Cutaways! Check us out!

Preview New Music!

I just released a full CD of original music called Fool on a Stool! I’ve been working hard in my home studio to the follow-up to Made From Scratch, which was released earlier this year. The new CD is done, and you can listen to it and download the tracks for free:

I’m on iTunes and Apple Music!

“Do What We Do” is the name of my newest song. This was recorded at the Made From Scratch CD Release Party at Farm to Fork in Mondovi, WI, on May 19, 2018.

Here’s a video of me singing with my band, The Cutaways. It’s an old Bob Dylan tune called, “You Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere.”

Sitting around in The Spare Bedroom Studio working on a song by The Turnpike Troubadours called, “Good Lord, Lorrie.”

Not a lot of video exists of me performing solo. Here I am singing “Margaritaville” at an open mic at Kyote’s Den.

Finally, I play some mighty sloppy guitar in an American/Roots band called The Rock Creek Song Dogs. Here I am singing “Mary Jane’s Last Dance” on New Year’s Eve.
